Pinot Grigio - Russian River Valley
2011
2011

Our Pinot Grigio is grown in the Russian River Valley and it is no surprise that Pinot Grigio finds such beautiful expression in this valley, well known for its top quality Pinot Noir. Pinot Grigio actually resembles Pinot Noir until veraison, and being a natural genetic mutation, has all the intrigue, complexity and flavor interest of Pinot Noir. When allowed to fully ripen, Pinot Grigio grapes have a unique copper color revealed through the slight onion skin color of our wine. This vintage suggests that the Russian River Valley can produce Pinot Grigio every bit as glorious as its famous Pinot Noirs.
