Just at the beginning of the Grand Cru Route, Chateau de Marsannay owns five Premiers Crus and three Grands Crus. The vineyards of the Estate spread over 40 hectares in Côte d’Or, covering such villages as Marsannay, Gevrey-Chambertin, Fixin, Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée, Beaune, Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Pommard and Puligny-Montrachet.

The Château owns 26 hectares of Marsannay Appelation  in the majority of the best climates: Les Longeroies, Les Echezots, Les Grandes Vignes, Clos de Jeu, Les Grasses Têtes, Le Parterre, Les Crais, Les Boivins, and Le Champs Salomon.

Modeled on the ancient Cisterian cellars of the Chateau de Meursault, the Chateau de Marsannay cellars spread over two levels and are 9 meters deep, allowing for the storage of about 500 barrels and 400,000 bottles.
