Meursault Les Genevrières
2011
2011

This Meursault Premier Cru Les Genevrières  was produced from Chardonnay vines with an age of nearly 30 years, sited in fine, light stony soils with a south-east aspect, on the upper Genevrières slope south-west of the fabled village of Meursault. The growing season and harvest in 2011 were superb for Chardonnay, with wonderful ripeness of fruit, purity and minerality. Bottled after 16 months in barrel, this is a wine of real depth, complexity and length. A delicious wine to drink by itself or an ideal accompaniment to turbot, fresh crab or grilled oysters.
