This is a wine of real length, fruit character and finesse. A delicious wine to drink by itself or an ideal accompaniment to roast duck, guinea fowl or pan-seared calves liver.

Aroma
Soft, ripe fruit nose of great purity displaying red cherry, blueberry, strawberry and mulberry with hints of nutmeg spice, black treacle and liquorice.
Taste
Round, ripe and smoothly textured. Well structured tannic profile and a balance of soft acidity and mineral rock elements. Ripe red fruit notes with cherry, raspberry and blackberry, balanced nicely by hints of mocha, vanilla and cinnamon. Long finish.

The growing season and harvest in 2010 were fine for Pinot Noir with lovely ripeness of fruit, purity and structure. Bottled after 16 months in barrels, this is a wine of real length, fruit character and finesse.
