Founded in 1993, Adelphi is Scotland’s most acclaimed independent bottler of rare, single cask malt whisky. From the start, their guiding principle was to only select the best casks and not to sacrifice quality for volume. Adelphi continues to bottle straight from the finest casks without coloring or chill filtration.
Remaining completely independent, Adelphi is able to offer bottlings from an extensive range of distillers with Charles Maclean, Master of the Quaich and author of more than 10 whisky books, chairing their highly experienced nosing team in the pursuit of excellence.
Single cask bottlings are very rare, ranging from 200-600 bottles from each cask. In addition, Adelphi believes that only the very best single cask, single malt whiskies are good enough to be bottled on their own. They select a mere 4% of the casks offered to them.
Given the scarcity of the product, there will be just four new offerings each quarter.
