Clos Abella
2009
2009

Clos Abella is a true expression of the Porrera terroir. This wine utilizes the best hand picked organic estate grown grapes to create a perfect blend of the Priorat's two indigenous varieties, Carignan (50%) and Grenache (39%), with an added touch of Cabernet Sauvignon (11%). This wine's characteristic freshness comes from the fact that the grapes are grown in the highest vineyard in the Priorat  terroir.  The wine is aged 24 months in French oak barrels and matured in the bottle for at least two years before leaving the winery. This process gives Clos Abella its signature elegant balance and lingering finish.
