Trockenbeerenauslese (“dried berries selection”) comes from grapes affected by noble rot, a condition that allows the grapes to dry out completely, shriveling like raisins. When pressed, the juice from these grapes is sweet and concentrated, creating rich, complex wines. This Chardonnay TBA has soft smoky aromas and subtle oak spice, with a touch of honey and citrus on the nose. Exotic fruit flavors characterize the palate with notes of fudge on the finish.
