Chateau de Marsannay Marsannay Clos du Roy

Chateau de Marsannay Marsannay Clos du Roy 2013

Made from grapes grown on a tiny 0.6 acre vineyard parcel located halfway up a hill, the Château de Marsannay “Clos du Roy” is dark violet in color with a dense, beautiful structure. “Clos” means “closed,” referring to the walls surrounding this vineyard, and “Roy” means “king,” in homage to the King of France who purchased the parcel of land in 1348.
