The Château de Meursault Premier Cru “Perrières” owes its name to the ancient limestone quarries still visible near the vineyard site. Aromas of toasted oak and subtle floral notes make it perfect to pair with light white fish, shellfish or roasted chicken.

Fermentation
After a manual harvest, a long and progressive pressing allows winemakers to select only the richest of the juices. The static racking, which lasts for 12 hours, helps to clarify the must which is directly put into the oak barrels for further alcoholic fermentation.
Aging
Aged in new oak barrels (about 35%) as well as in barrels of one or two years.
