Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru “Les Caillerets"

Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru “Les Caillerets" 2011

“Caillerets” is derived from the French word for pebbles, referring to the limestone soil that surrounds the Chardonnay grapes for this wine. Very pale white in color, this wine has a racy acidity with complex floral and rich vanilla notes. It has excellent aging ability, and will develop sophisticated flavors of toast and butterscotch with time.
