Made from Chardonnay grapes grown in an east-facing vineyard near a limestone quarry, the Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru “Les Chaumées” is light gold in color, smooth and subtle. It offers aromas of vanilla and gingerbread in harmony with notes of stone fruit, rosemary and charred oak on the palate.

Fermentation
Vinification starts in tanks before the wine is transferred to French oak barrels. Stirring of the lees is done three to four times. Racking takes place after malolactic fermentation.
