Feudi di San Gregorio Serpico

Feudi di San Gregorio Serpico 2011

Serpico is an Aglianico from the historic "Dal Re" ("by king") vineyard, a name that refers to the centuries-old, patriarchal vines from which these grapes are harvested. It's ruby red with a complex bouquet of cherry jam, licorice, coffee and cacao. Incredibly balanced and structured, it has a long, pleasant finish of toast and spice.
