Its hard limestone and alluvium soils  enhance the richness and  weight of this wine, and enable perfect ripening conditions that make Meursault so unique and an  esteemed Burgundy Appellation.

Length/Type of Fermentation: 
After a manual harvest, a long and progressive pressing allows winemakers to select only the richest of the juices. The static racking, which lasts for 12 hours, helps to clarify the must which is directly put into the oak barrels for further alcoholic fermentation.
Length/Type of Aging: 
Aged in new oak barrels (about 35%) as well as in barrels of one or two years. After 12 – 15 months, the barrels are blended together just before the bottling.
