Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru “Les Caillerets"
2011
2011

Located South of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet, it is produced from two vineyard plots of chalky “terre blanche” soils. The name “Caillerets” comes from the French “Cailloux” or pebbles, thus giving  the wine its energetic minerality and racy acidity after first displaying floral notes, layers of complexity and superb balance. It has a wonderful aging capacity and develops toasty notes with age. Vines were planted in 1982.
