Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru “Les Chaumées”
2012
2012

Located North-West of the village of Chassagne-Montrachet, this East-facing vineyard is adjacent to a large limestone quarry, where the white and pale-pink cliffs are a reminder of the appellation’s great terroir.

It exhibits orchard-fruit like flavors and aromas, with tones of honey and rosemary. It is suave and subtle, mid-weight on the palate, offering generous flavors of stone fruits and charred oak. Overall, this wine is elegant and pretty, sweet and showy. Vines were replanted in 2007.
