Puligny-Montrachet “Les Enseignères”
2012
2012

Les Enseignères is considered one of the best Puligny-Montrachet Village vineyard, adjacent to the Grand Cru Bienvenue Bâtard-Montrachet. On the nose, the wine exhibits discreet wood notes, floral and green apple aromas intertwined in a background of citrus and lemon. Great precision, detail and intensity  define this wine with rich, opulent middle weight flavors that lead to a persistent finish.  Serious and worth considering, it combines the characters of a Puligny-Montrachet with a powerful frame similar to a Grand Cru. Vines were planted in 1972.
