Established in 1893, Cecchi (pronounced check-ee) is one of the oldest and most prominent producers in Tuscany, pioneering the growth and development of the Sangiovese grape worldwide.  Cecchi embodies Tuscan authenticity with an emphasis on innovation and sustainability, crafting wines that showcase the pure expressions of the family’s historic vineyards.  The more traditional wine style of the Cecchi Chianti Classico is balanced and clean.  Try it with homemade pasta dishes, braised chicken or roasted meats.

Chianti Classico is the result of the Cecchi family’s continuous research in the appreciation of Sangiovese originating from the most propense zones of the designation. After fermenting in steel tanks, the wine is aged for about a year in wooden casks. The scent expression is focused on the depth of the fruit for voluminous and ample palate; however, it is always supported by well-extracted acidic and tannic freshness.
