Chosen as one of the best wineries in the Rioja region in the last 25 years by Wine & Spirits, Conde de Valdemar is acknowledged as synonymous with quality and continuity. The winery was built in the 1980’s and has been producing wines that feature a great commitment to innovation.
All Conde de Valdemar wines use grapes from their own estates vineyards and are produced using the traditional Rioja method of crianza, reserva and gran reserva. Today, the winery hosts a collection of Gran Reserva wines dating back to 1968 through current times.
Conde de Valdemar wines typically use a blend of Tempranillo as well as varietally bottled Tempranillo, Viura and Garnacha. The main wines featured in the portfolio are Crianza, Finca Alta Cantabria, Reserva and Gran Reserva.
