California wine pioneer Jean Laurent built the Glass Mountain wine cellar more than 100 years ago, using quarried stone from the base of Glass Mountain in Napa Valley. The cellar is still in use today and is a testament to Laurent’s passion for quality and fine craftsmanship. Glass Mountain wines are made from grapes grown in some of the world’s top vineyard sites, and are easy-drinking, food-friendly wines -- perfect to pair with any meal or any occasion.
Ruby red in color, the aroma is rich in cherry and cranberry fruit, with graham cracker and baked bread notes from the barrel aging. Juicy flavors of raspberry and sour cherry are layered with hints of smoke and mint, with gripping tannins on the finish.
Delicate pineapple and honeyed apricot weave seamlessly throughout the aroma. Classic flavors of golden apples, crushed almonds and mineral highlights merge with a round texture and a crisp, juicy finish.
This wine offers cherry and plum aromas layered with tobacco, smoke and fresh baked bread. The juicy texture combines with root beer, allspice and peppermint notes, and the smooth, creamy entry leads into a bright cherry mid-palate.
