Spread throughout the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, the estate vineyards of Château de Marsannay are located in some of the most prestigious villages of Burgundy, including Vougeot, Beaune, Pommard and Puligny-Montrachet. The winery sits in the center of Marsannay, a village whose winemaking traditions date back over a thousand years. Château de Marsannay owns five Premiers Crus and three Grand Crus, with cellars spread over two levels and nine meters deep to house 500 barrels and more than 400,000 bottles of wine.

Ruby red in color, this wine is powerful and expressive, displaying notes of spice and tobacco. It’s a fresh, fruit-forward Pinot Noir suitable to drink when young.
The grapes for this wine are grown in a vineyard next to the famed Château du Clos de Vougeot, a historical site dating back to the 12th century. Clay and limestone soils provide the vineyard with ideal drainage conditions, allowing the vines to produced concentrated fruit that makes for a full-bodied, fruit-forward wine with well-integrated tannins.
This wine is expressive, full-bodied and well-balanced, with complex notes of raspberry, red currant, spice and toasted oak.
Made from grapes grown in the renowned Premier Cru vineyard in the Chambertin appellation, this wine has aromas of ripe cherries and raspberries backed by earthy notes. Wonderful to drink now, it is also suitable for cellaring.
Made from grapes grown on a tiny 0.6 acre vineyard parcel located halfway up a hill, the Château de Marsannay “Clos du Roy” is dark violet in color with a dense, beautiful structure. “Clos” means “closed,” referring to the walls surrounding this vineyard, and “Roy” means “king,” in homage to the King of France who purchased the parcel of land in 1348.
The name of this wine comes from the long furrows, or “roies,” that stretch horizontally within the vineyard and enable better grapevine cultivation. This wine is structured and elegant, with black fruit aromas and silky tannins.
A bright red cherry color, this wine exhibits aromas of fresh red fruits and a hint of smoke. It’s full-bodied, with flavors of cherry and cranberry balanced by a touch of spice.
