“Caillerets” is derived from the French word for pebbles, referring to the limestone soil that surrounds the Chardonnay grapes for this wine. Very pale white in color, this wine has a racy acidity with complex floral and rich vanilla notes. It has excellent aging ability, and will develop sophisticated flavors of toast and butterscotch with time.
