Shimizu-no-mai Sake

In 1944, 12 small family sake breweries dating back to 1656, established the Takashimizu brewery. The brewery believes in quality, working in harmony with the land, and creating sake to reflect the toji spirit. Located in Akita – one of Japan’s top sake-producing regions – the brewery has won fifteen consecutive gold medals at the National New Sake Awards. Shimizu-no-mai represents the first offering from this historic brewery to be exported to the United States.
